Bahrain Islamic Index ends trading higher

Manama, October 7 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,699.92 points, recording a decrease of 0.44 points from the previous closing.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecommunications services sector, the private sector for consumers, and the financial sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 675.36 points, recording an increase of 0.10 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 110 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 5,758,146, with a value of BD 527,798.

Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 89.01% of the total value of traded securities.
