Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, March 20 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,886.35 points, down by 10.65 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 656.63 points, recording an increase of 0.54 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 97 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 2,661,990, with a value of 852,963 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector and account for 59.61% of the total value of securities traded.
