Bahrain Islamic Index closes higher

Manama, February 6 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,935.58 points, recording a decrease of 0.36 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecommunications services sector, the materials sector, and the consumer goods sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 659.53 points, recording an increase of 0.87 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 62 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,211,239, with a value of 535,634 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector and account for 39.01% of the total value of securities traded.
