Manama, September 18 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,937.95 points, recording a decrease of 0.91 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the financial and industrial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 676.86 points, an increase of 0.81 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 71 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,172,085, with a value of 426,732 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the materials sector and represent 60.95% of the total value of traded securities.
