Minister Shahid expressed his pride in what Bahrain is achieving under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

He pointed to the necessity of consolidating Bahrain’s model as an international model in the field of human rights and a number of other fields in light of the exceptional efforts made by Bahrain.
The President of the United Nations General Assembly, with regard to Bahrain’s excellence in supporting women and achieving gender equality, indicated that he had met the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, and congratulated her on her victory in the presidency, especially that she is the first woman to reach the presidency of the House of Representatives.
“I learned that about 75% of the medical staff on the front lines are women, and it gives us great pride to see the professional excellence of women in various sectors and places in Bahrain and this indicates the Kingdom’s interest in supporting and empowering,” he said.
Regarding his vision for the post-pandemic, Minister Shahid stressed that in two years, the world faced its battle with the epidemic, with increasing losses.
We cannot deny that the pandemic has contributed to showing humanity at its best, and we have also witnessed sacrifices in the service of others. This was clearly demonstrated by the workers on the front lines.
