Bahrain-India security cooperation discussed


Manama, March 28 (BNA) The Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, praised the strategic security partnership with India. He praised the common historical and civilizational denominators between the two countries in strengthening democracy, promoting tolerance and coexistence, and rejecting the rhetoric of extremism and hatred.


He was speaking during a meeting with India’s Deputy National Security Adviser, Vikram Misri. The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the security field, exchange experiences, and activate memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries in the field of combating international terrorism and organized crimes.
