Bahrain gearing up for West Asia Junior Volleyball Championship

Manama, July 20 (BNA) Bahrain’s junior volleyball team is intensifying its preparations for the West Asian Championship, which is scheduled to start on Friday and continue until July 31 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The national team concluded its training courses, which were attended by the Vice-President of the Bahrain Volleyball Association, Mohammed Al-Thawadi, Secretary-General Firas Al-Halwaji and members of the Board of Directors.

The Bahrain draw comes in the first group, which also includes Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Iraq, while the second group includes Qatar, Syria, Kuwait, Palestine and Saudi Arabia.

The national team will receive the Iraqi national team on Friday at 1.30 pm in its first match in Group A.
