Bahrain embassy Chargé d’Affaires to Ireland participates in Irish National Day of Commemoration ceremony

Dublin, July 11 (BNA) In the presence of Ireland’s President Michael D. Higgins, non-resident chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Ireland, Counselor Hussain Mohammed Alam. The annual celebration of Irish National Day commemorating all Irish women and men who died in past wars or while serving with the United Nations.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of Irish Prime Minister Michael Martin, senior officials from the Irish government and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Ireland.

Following the ceremony, the Chargé d’Affairs attended a lunch hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Ireland, Simon Coveney, for members of the diplomatic corps.

The Bahraini Chargé d’Affairs conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes for the friendly Republic of further progress and prosperity.
