Bahrain condemns terrorist bombings in Afghanistan

Manama, May 26 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist bombings in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which yesterday targeted a mosque in the capital, Kabul, and several locations in the north of Mazar-i-Sharif. Caused the killing and wounding of a number of innocent civilians.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of these criminal acts aimed at destabilizing security and terrorizing people, stressing that they contradict all religious principles and moral and human values. It expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people, and offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to all the injured. The ministry renewed its call for the need to intensify international efforts to eliminate terrorist organizations and dry up their funding sources.
