Manama, May 17 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,940.35 points, an increase of 2.11 points from the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector and the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 712.05 points, recording an increase of 0.70 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 97 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 2,582,171, with a value of BD 948,005.
Investors trade mainly in the financial sector, accounting for 38.21% of the total value of securities traded.
