Manama, December 5 (BNA): Bahrain General Index closed at 1,768.36 points, recording an increase of 6.76 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecom services sector and the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 724.57 points, recording an increase of 7.01 points over the previous closing.
The results indicated that 49 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,303,934, with a value of 280,549 Bahraini dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 56.43% of the total value of traded securities.
