Bahrain beat the USA in Men’s World Handball Championship

Stockholm, Jan. 19 (BNA): Bahrain continued its series of victories in the 28th World Men’s Handball Championship, which was held in Sweden and Poland.


The national team outperformed America 32-27 in today’s main round match at Malmö Arena in Malmö, Sweden. Bahrain led the US team 17-13 at the end of the first half of the match.


This is the second victory for Bahrain, which defeated Belgium 30-28 to qualify for the main round of the tournament.


The national team plays on Saturday at 05:30 pm (Bahrain time), which leads its group after defeating Croatia, Morocco and the United States of America.
