Bahrain attends workshop on judicial cooperation

Manama, March 1 (BNA) The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments participated in a workshop to highlight judicial cooperation with the European Union.

The event was attended by Implementation Director Jassem Hassan Buhamoud and Counselor Muhammad Jamal Sultan, which was hosted by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council at its headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The workshop was attended by public prosecutors, officials from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, representatives of the European Union and high-level experts, who discussed aspects of cooperation between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the field of criminal justice, including the establishment of a specialized electronic portal.
