Bahrain Ambassador in Brussels meets Vice-President of European Parliament Human Rights Committee

Brussels, October 12, 9 BTA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union met Abdullah bin Faisal bin Jaber Al-Dosari, Member of the European Parliament, Vice-Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Human Rights. In the European Parliament, Member of the Renew Europe Group, Bernard Guetta, at the European Parliament headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.


The ambassador praised the growing relations between Bahrain and the European Union in many areas, including the exchange of visits and experiences in the parliamentary and legislative fields. He recalled the visit of the President of the House of Representatives to Brussels and her fruitful meeting with the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament.


He also reviewed the democratic process in Bahrain, highlighting the upcoming parliamentary and municipal elections, and legislative and human rights developments that enhance the development of civil, political and economic rights in the Kingdom.


The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
