Manama, January 2 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,888.01 points, recording a decrease of 7.26 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, and the real estate sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 660.43 points, recording a decrease of 2.70 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 57 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,605,466, with a value of 298,625 Bahraini Dinars.
Investors trade mainly in the telecom services sector and account for 33.30% of the total value of securities traded.
