Bahrain All Share Index, Islamic Index end trading higher

Manama, February 27 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,960.06 points, recording an increase of 16.28 points over the previous close.


This increase is attributed to the rise in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the materials sector, the real estate sector, and the consumer goods sector.


The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 747.51 points, recording an increase of 2.30 points from the previous closing.


The results indicated that 76 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,783,085, with a value of 786,928 Bahraini dinars.


Investors mainly trade in the telecom sector and represent 34.94% of the total value of traded securities.
