Manama, October 20 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,721.74 points, recording an increase of 3.60 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunication services sector, the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 676.08 points, a decrease of 0.30 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 118 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 6,570,608, with a value of 1,189,701 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 78.84% of the total value of traded securities.
