Manama, April 6 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,119.33 points, an increase of 25.55 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 738.44 points, recording a decrease of 1.60 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 89 transactions were made on equity, with a volume of 3,168,680, with a value of 1,571,758 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 50.67% of the total value of traded securities.
