Bahrain All Share Index gains 2,43 points

Manama, November 21 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,793.52 points, an increase of 2.43 points over the previous close.

This increase came as a result of the rise in the consumer goods sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the real estate sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 744.47 points, a decrease of 1.38 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 48 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,245,574, with a value of BD 515,780.

The results also indicated that one bond transaction with a volume of 30,000, with a value of 30,000 Bahraini dinars, represented 5.50% of the total value of traded securities.

Investors mainly trade in the materials sector and represent 43.34% of the total value of traded securities.
