Bahrain All Share Index ends trading higher

Manama, November 17 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed today at 1,864.95 points, an increase of 1.54 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the materials sector and the consumer goods sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 662.47 points, recording a decrease of 2.24 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 56 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 1,441,590, with a value of 600,431 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the financial sector, accounting for 51.07% of the total value of securities traded.
