Manama, February 1 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,815.15 points, an increase of 5.34 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the communications services sector, the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 756.37 points, recording a decrease of 0.28 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 51 transactions were made on equity, with a volume of 1,757,960, with a value of 480,331 Bahraini dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 42.51% of the total value of traded securities.
