Bahrain All Share Index ends trading higher

Manama, Dec. 29 /BNA/: Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,895.27 points by the end of 2022, an increase of 5.45% compared to last year’s close.


Bahrain’s general index closed today at 1,895.27 points, recording an increase of 15.64 points from the previous close.


This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecommunications services sector, the financial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 663.13 points, recording an increase of 6.22 points from the previous close.


The results indicated that 70 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 901,308, with a value of 584,481 Bahraini Dinars.


Investors trade mainly in the materials sector and account for 74.05% of the total value of securities traded.
