Bahrain All Share Index closes higher

Manama, February 14 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,937.86 points, recording an increase of 2.69 points from the previous close.

This increase is attributed to the rise in the consumer goods sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 659.21 points, down by 5.50 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 97 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 5,961,634, with a value of BD 2,961,904.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector, accounting for 83.32% of the total value of securities traded.
