Manama, September 6 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,920.94 points, recording an increase of 0.83 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 676.10 points, recording a decrease of 0.15 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 85 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 4,538,916, with a value of BD842,419.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 74.67% of the total value of traded securities.
