Manama, February 6 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,833.25 points, recording an increase of 9.01 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 746.05 points, a decrease of 1.03 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 75 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,118,717, with a value of BD 567,165.
Investors mainly trade in the materials sector with 43.72% of the total value of traded securities.
