Manama, December 30 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1.797.25 points, recording an increase of 3.38 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the telecom services sector and the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 751.72 points, recording an increase of 0.52 points over the previous close.
The results indicated that 71 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,824.507, with a value of 447,301 Bahraini dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 61.02% of the total value of traded securities.
