Manama, August 18 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,897.73 points, recording a decrease of 2.43 points from the previous close.
This decrease is attributed to the decrease in the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 672.99 points, recording an increase of 1.03 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 53 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,174,051 with a value of 325,599 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 49.74% of the total value of traded securities.
