Manama, December 20 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,770.98 points, recording a decrease of 11.22 points from the previous close.
This decrease is attributed to the decrease in the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 743.61 points, a decrease of 10.96 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 82 transactions were made on equity, with a volume of 2,529,878, with a value of BD 559,038.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 59.10% of the total value of traded securities.
