Manama, September 21 (BNA) The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,686.57 points, recording a decrease of 3.58 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the industry sector, and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 664.95 points, recording a decrease of 2.16 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 102 transactions were made on equity, with a volume of 3,771,346, with a value of 794,208 Bahraini Dinars.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector representing 81.15% of the total value of traded securities.
