Manama, November 1 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,759.95 points, recording an increase of 16.89 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 689.40 points, recording a decrease of 0.09 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 162 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 5,182,806, with a value of 1,933,211 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the materials sector and represent 64.14% of the total value of traded securities.
