Manama, December 12 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at the level of 1,786.31 points, recording an increase of 0.59 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the increase in the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 756.34 points, an increase of 8.61 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 92 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 3,006,470, with a value of 459,902 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 85.07% of the total value of traded securities.
