Bahrain: A global model as a diverse, thriving society

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Bahrain has emerged as a diverse and metropolitan society thanks to the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

“This diversity in our society is a sign of strength and strength for Bahrain, as His Majesty the King emphasized,” Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the European Union Abdullah bin Faisal Al-Dosari told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on the sidelines of the first conference between the European Union and Bahrain, which was held under the supervision of His Majesty the King. Topic “Expanding the tent: freedom of religion and belief”.

During the session, Al-Dosari presented Bahrain’s viewpoint on freedom of religion and belief.

He touched on Bahrain’s foreign policy and its diplomatic relations with the world.

He explained how the royal directives guide diplomacy and make the Kingdom a distinguished country in the region.

Bahrain has emerged as an urban society built on backgrounds of multiple religions, cultures, and nationalities. This has become the strength of our society, as His Majesty the King has stated. Bahrain prides itself on its rich diversity as a society and continues its development progress.”

We have been blessed with the inspirational leadership and vision of His Majesty the King which is reflected in our foreign policy and diplomacy. Bahrain’s remarkably successful story of freedom of religion and belief is something we need to share with the world. He said that the harmonious coexistence in Bahrain is a basic pillar and basis for society and brings people together.”

“I thank the European Union for its participation in this important conference as the European Union has been incredibly supportive in making this meeting a success as well as FORB. The success of the first conference cemented the initiative and will pave the way for another era of interoperability between Bahrain and the European Union.
