BAC welcomes regional head of world’s leading aviation body

Manama, November 9 (BNA) Bahrain International Airport Company (BAC) received the Director General of Airports Council International (ACI) – Asia Pacific Stefano Baronsi.

Bahrain is the first country that Baronci visited as part of the ACI’s Middle East International Airport Program, which aims to enhance the voice of airports in the Middle East and North Africa region.

After a tour of Bahrain International Airport with Bahrain International Airport Company CEO Mohammed Yousef Al-Binfalah, Barunchi will attend meetings with senior government officials from Bahrain’s aviation and health sectors later this week to discuss the aviation industry’s recovery amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He will also attend workshops with senior management at BAC and representatives of ACI Asia-Pacific to discuss topics related to health, safety, security and the environment.
