The Maintenance Representative is responsible to the Helicopter Maintenance Manager for the effective supervision and control of the third party maintenance provider.
• Manage the effective performance of subcontracted activities by setting and monitoring individual goals, managing performance, developing relationships, and motivating maintenance staff to achieve maximum performance.
• Direct and support maintenance personnel in the day-to-day operations to ensure that the most efficient action is taken to provide a serviceable aircraft on time without any compromise.

• Develop and maintain an appropriate work/office environment to enable stable communications and access to all of the company’s IT platforms
• Organizing and coordinating the implementation of all maintenance work required to provide efficient and responsive service to all aircraft in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety
• Plan and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel to ensure maximum service, 24-hour availability, and operability of all aircraft and equipment.
• Review the technical status of the aircraft in relation to the level of deferred defects, spare parts, aircraft spare parts loans, and any technical activity across the fleet. To ensure maximum technical dispatch level and high quality maintenance standards
• Ensure that all defects, non-routine delays and MEL are evaluated and acted upon and rectified prior to the next flight
• Identify and propose solutions jointly with the third party and the engine control organization to correct any defects/errors that may hinder operations
• Ensure that the aircraft is effective, and that reference is made to the last revision, before using the approved maintenance data
• Ensure that all maintenance personnel are fully aware of foreign object damage (FOD) and hazards to ensure the safety of people and the aircraft

• Verify that all work performed by the maintenance provider is carried out in accordance with approved data, within the scope of their mandate and in accordance with the company’s safety and quality procedures.
• Ensure that maintenance is performed to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant technical data (eg, instructions set forth in the aircraft’s approved documentation) and compliance with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Oversee the preparation of all paperwork related to the maintenance activity and ensure that it is done in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the company’s current procedures.
• Ensure that any equipment/vehicles are in serviceable condition and ensure that repairs are carried out professionally and in a timely manner to ensure readiness.
• Oversee/monitor missions from start to finish, ensuring that full briefing and briefing occurs, and that they formally report back to MCC and senior management.
• Ensure that maximum attention is paid to the availability of the company’s aircraft so that the company’s operations are not interrupted.
• Ensure that the aircraft is always prepared for operational readiness.
• Evaluate and validate costs of man-hours and materials/fees from contracted suppliers to ensure all invoices are properly drafted and billed in accordance with contractual agreements.

• A repair certificate from the General Civil Aviation Authority, with return to service on AW139 for a period of no less than 3 years.
• Experienced RII
• At least 10 years’ experience in helicopter maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of helicopter engineering and maintenance.
• Detailed understanding of safety management systems surrounding helicopter operations and operating procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of downtime analysis and good knowledge of problem-solving tools.
• Good understanding of maintenance planning and staff scheduling
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Fluency in English (must)
• Regulatory know-how and compliance
• The level of competency associated with in-depth experience in the aviation industry can be demonstrated.
• Has good knowledge in all areas of helicopter maintenance from heavy maintenance, line maintenance, engineering and planning.
• Has experience in dealing with customs control over the import/export of aircraft spare parts.
• Can demonstrate the ability to coordinate all maintenance activities at the assigned station where he will work.
