Auditor General: Developing professional capabilities of NAO staff

Manama, November 9 (BNA) The Auditor General of the National Audit Office, Sheikh Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, congratulated Amina Saleh Al-Dosari on obtaining the professional qualification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Fatima Mahmoud Muhammad on obtaining her profession. Qualified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

He wished them success in their future, and commended the office staff who seek to develop their professional competencies and technical skills through internationally accredited professional qualifications.

Sheikh Ahmed encouraged all employees of the office to gain more experience and benefit from the qualification and training programs offered by the office for their own benefit and in the interest of the work of the agency and the audit profession in general.

He pointed out that the National Office of Administrative Control pays great attention to providing continuous professional training and qualification courses for its employees.

The courses are through projects and programs that comply with the international auditing standards issued by the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) to enhance their professional and technical capabilities.

Amina and Fatima said they were pleased with their accomplishments and appreciated the support provided by the National Audit Office, which enabled them to obtain these important qualifications. They confirmed that they will continue to develop their professional and technical skills.
