Manama, August 11 (BNA) The Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs, Brigadier General Hammoud Saad Hammoud, inaugurated a workshop on the implementation of the National Human Rights Plan 2022-2026.
The workshop comes within the framework of the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the follow-up to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
With the approval of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prepared the plan in coordination with the concerned authorities.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior praised the directives of the Minister of Interior, the head of the Human Rights Committee at the Ministry of Interior. He praised the ministry’s dedication to implementing projects to promote human rights principles.
At the beginning of the workshop, the lead human rights team leader, Ali Najm, shed light on human rights projects and programmes.
