Arab Radio, TV Festival concludes in Riyadh

Riyadh, November 13 (BNA) The 22nd Arab Radio and Television Festival concluded its activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where the festival was held under the slogan “Media in a Shaping World”, and this is the first time that the festival has been held outside Tunisia, the headquarters. .

The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of the CEO of the General Broadcasting Corporation (SBA) and President of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) Muhammad Al-Harthy.

Al-Harthy said that the media industry is accelerating and requires initiative to face challenges and keep pace with this change, and this exhibition comes in conjunction with the Arab Radio and Television Festival.

He stressed that the Kingdom is witnessing a qualitative leap and remarkable development under its wise leadership.

He pointed to the launch of the “Montage” initiative to stimulate creativity and creators, and push the media industry and its advanced technologies to reach Arab media that compete globally.

The four-day festival included actions and initiatives, and the opening ceremony took place last Wednesday evening, in the presence of the Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and was organized by the Saudi Business Academy and the University.

The Minister honored the pioneers of media and Arab cinema in appreciation of their effective contributions to enriching media and arts in the Arab world.
