Arab Parliament Speaker hails National Action Charter

Cairo, February 14 (BNA) The Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi said that the National Action Charter is a pioneering Arab experience that emerged from the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa aimed at building a modern state.

He added that the commission paved the way for launching broad constitutional and legislative reforms that led to unprecedented economic and social achievements, and consolidating the Kingdom’s position at the Arab, regional and international levels.

In a statement on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the founding of the council, Al-Asumi extended his deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives stressed that the National Action Charter reflects the strong cohesion between the leadership and the people in Bahrain, and enables the Kingdom to move into a new era of progress at all levels, making it a role model in building a state of law and institutions. As well as respect for human rights under the leadership of His Majesty the King and thanks to the efforts of the government led by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
