Arab Media Forum begins in Dubai

Dubai, October 4 (BNA) The Arab Media Forum (AMF) kicked off today with the participation of more than 3,000 government officials, leaders of Emirati, Arab and international media organizations, influential decision makers, opinion leaders, businessmen and innovators. And those interested in the media sector, within the most prominent media event of its kind in the region.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that the two-day forum is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The forum, which this year celebrates its twentieth anniversary, will honor prominent Arab media professionals and organizations in three major media sectors, namely, the press, television and digital media, on the first day of the event.

The forum will include keynote sessions, panel discussions and 20-minute sessions discussing the latest trends in the sector.

The largest gathering of Arab media stakeholders will take a closer look at how new trends, technologies, advanced platforms and tools can enhance the positive impact of media in the region.
