Cairo, January 7 (BNA): The Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union praised the major role played by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in advancing the joint Arab parliament. Referring to Bahrain’s continuous support for various parliamentary activities aimed at strengthening Arab cooperation and achieving common aspirations.
Participants in the twenty-ninth session of the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Intellectual Property, which was held here today, expressed their thanks and appreciation to the legislative authority in the Kingdom for its efforts in supporting the International Federation of Intellectual Property, and praised the role played by the Speaker of Parliament and President of the International Federation of Intellectual Property Ahmed bin Salman Al. – Muslim to strengthen parliamentary relations between Arab countries in a way that enhances the role of the Union and enhances its achievements.
In this regard, the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Representative Ahmed Abdel Wahed Qarata, the head of the Kingdom’s delegation to the meeting, conveyed the greetings of the Muslim Speaker of Parliament to the participants, stressing the importance of increasing the achievements of the International Federation of Intellectual Property for the meeting. aspirations of member states, and contribute to coordinating positions in the various parliamentary groupings.
MP Karata affirmed the commitment of the Bahraini parliamentary delegation to support Arab issues in regional and international parliamentary forums, as an integral part of the Kingdom’s parliamentary diplomacy.
