Arab Gulf Security 3 drill launched in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, January 15 (BNA): The joint tactical exercise “Arab Gulf Security 3” for the security forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was launched in the eastern region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The joint security exercise is being conducted under the auspices of the Saudi Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs, Lieutenant-General Saeed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani.

Brigadier General Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, attended the launch of the joint exercise.

He said that the exercises came in the wake of the decisions taken by the GCC interior ministers. He referred to the directives of the Minister of Interior and the follow-up to the Head of Public Security to support efforts to strengthen Gulf security work to ward off threats and exchange experiences.
