Manama, June 1 (BNA): A symposium entitled “Design Approach” will be held tomorrow, in cooperation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, in Al Riwaq Arts District.

The two-day symposium will host a group of artists and designers who will discuss the scientific and intellectual aspects related to design and the arts, in addition to talking about those areas in Bahrain, regarding their challenges and future visions.

BACA invites the public to participate and attend the seminar, by prior registration. Registration can be made through the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ account on InstagramCultureBah or the gallery’s account on Alriwaq.

High-ranking officials from major relevant institutions in the Kingdom, in addition to designers with various experiences, will participate in the “Design Curriculum” symposium.

It also seeks to explore more possibilities and potentials for development, dialogue and cooperation between the two parties, and ways to develop design practices in Bahrain.

The first day of the symposium, which will start tomorrow, Friday, June 2 at 4:00 pm, will include a discussion of topics such as the relationship of design to education and its relationship to society.

As for the second day, Saturday, June 3, the symposium will start at 11:00 am and discuss topics such as the importance of materials in design, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and the future of design in Bahrain.
