The role of the Application Engineering Manager is to support the general business of specific product lines such as Cased Hole, Open Hole, Smart Completions, and Liner Hanger. This includes geographic area management support through prominent project coordination, product line strategy and execution, product development direction, and technical and commercial support.
Supervising all engineering, simulation and field preparations.
You will be responsible for client and communication, ensuring that the organization is optimally suited to identifying clients’ needs and problems.
Provide timely and appropriate information and support to internal clients
Contact product/service lines
Building strong and positive relationships with the client at various levels
Hold periodic meetings to review clients’ project
Responsible for team building and mentoring
Managing and leading team performance
7-10 years of experience in related technologies, with at least 2-3 years of field experience and a proven track record of supporting high-end projects.
Very strong project management skills including abilities in project accountability and cost management
Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, insight and mature judgment in planning, organizing and directing large-scale engineering activities
Ability to handle multiple project activities simultaneously, coordinating and interacting with multiple company departments and external companies
Strong interpersonal, decision-making and negotiation skills are required
Experienced in Cased Hole, Open Hole and Smart Completeions, Liner Hanger is preferred
