Al Razji pin honors fallen heroes’ sacrifices for the nation

Manama, December 15 (BNA): The pink pin worn by Bahrainis in the month of December is of great importance.

The white Razji flower and the palm leaf pin are a Bahraini icon that honors the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation. It celebrates their selfless sense of sacrifice.

In 2015, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a decision to honor the fallen heroes of the Kingdom annually on December 17.

The Bahrainis were keen to celebrate the special day to properly honor the national heroes and their children.

The razji pin is worn from December 9 to 17, coinciding with the days of the national kingdom on the left side of the chest near the heart.

Royal Decree 16/2016 established the Royal Fund for Dead Soldiers to provide financial assistance and support to the families of fallen service members in the Kingdom.

The Supreme Committee of the Royal Fund for Fallen Soldiers is managed, headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
