ACS Senior Support Engineer – Hyperion Technical Consultant | Job in Cairo, Egypt by Oracle | GulfTalent

The ACS Engineer – Hyperion will serve as a technical advisor to the Oracle Hyperion family of products. The candidate should have solid experience in the field of enterprise performance management, budgeting, planning and financial inclusion. Executive experience in a complex to medium complexity environment is required. Must be able to work independently to provide high quality work products, and perform diverse and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment.

The range of products expected to be covered are EPM Hyperion Essbase, Planning, HFM, and FDMEE Applications. Knowledge/experience with EPM Cloud products is an asset.

responsibilities

Works with the client to understand requirements, functions and business processes
Translating customer requirements into deliverable products and services
Provide functional evaluation of implemented solutions, with recommendations for improved processes, better use of Oracle Applications features and better performance results
Develops test plans and procedures and conducts tests accordingly
Support for Oracle EPM Hyperion products and services in line with contractual agreement
– Works with support to solve customer problems.
Troubleshoot and resolve simple to very complex functional performance issues related to EPM Hyperion products.
Works with various functions within Oracle to ensure RCA is complete and Service Level Agreements are met.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions within the Oracle team and end users.
Work closely with the technical team and delivery leaders to deliver engagement work estimates and drive functional business excellence.
Ensures that new services are appropriately captured and placed in the ACS repository
Proactively maintains knowledge of current and future Oracle product/solution offerings for the selected EPM/Hyperion Cloud region.

Technical qualifications

At least 5-8 years of experience working with Essbase, Hyperion Planning, HFM and FDMEE systems as a functional consultant.
Over 3 years of experience and good knowledge designing, building, optimizing, integrating and automating EPM solutions running on various Oracle EPM applications.
Experience and good understanding of financial, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, GL systems, consolidation and reporting processes is required.
Expert knowledge of Hyperion planning (Business Rules, Integration, etc.)
Work experience with budget planning, manpower, OPEX and CAPEX.
Familiar with ODI functions, EPM Automate and other ETL tools.
Knowledge of other Oracle Hyperion integration tools such as DRM is an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server relational databases and data modeling.
Good working experience in SmartView, MS Office Suite.
