Advanced Customer Services (ACS) is a business unit within Oracle’s Customer Service organization that builds long-term service relationships with Oracle’s largest customers. ACS Service Solution Architects focus on supporting the continued growth of ACS in high-end, large-scale, and complex services for Oracle Cloud and on-premises engagements, primarily related to the cloud.

Role Profile:

ACS Service Solutions Engineers have a proven track record of successfully delivering IT services to mission-critical environments in large organizations. In addition to specializing in the cloud field, they have extensive and broad experience across large scale project based IT architectures – Deployment – Migration – Service Shares Management and also expertise in mission-critical productions and support. They have proven experience in industry standard project management and best practices in service management.

Each individual cloud service solution engineer has deep expertise in specific services and technology areas, and acts as a subject leader in those areas within the team. This special opportunity requires an individual with a proven track record of engineering and winning complex, pioneering managed services-based engagements.

All ACS Cloud Service Solution Architects have very strong customer-facing presentation and interaction skills, and are able to engage in senior and C level management, articulating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk.

Location: Cairo, Egypt. Support field sales in Egypt.
– Facing clients
Does not have direct reports, but often leads and/or directs the activities of virtual teams to build service solution proposals for clients
Works with multiple clients across all sectors/countries in the ACS region, in collaboration with Oracle ACS and Cross Business Sales (xLoB) teams
Works on service-related opportunities across the full lifecycle of all Oracle Cloud and on-premises products, covering Oracle service requirements across design, deployment, migration, operations/management, and support
Works with ACS and xLoB sales teams to:
– Identify, build and win leading/extensive cloud related service opportunities
Build and demonstrate compelling ACS service solutions that meet specific customer business needs
Ensure that the risks and costs associated with each ACS service proposal are fully understood and addressed
Provide expert input on contract drafting and negotiation
Helping ACS achieve growth goals
xLoB works on individual opportunities and specific initiatives

Responsibilities:

To identify, enhance, and define Oracle ACS services solutions for specific customer opportunities and assist in selling in conjunction with the sales representative and the broader ACS team
Work with the client, ACS management and xLoB account sales teams to:
Understand the customer’s business and IT strategic requirements and identify ACS opportunities to help the customer achieve their strategic goals
Evaluate customer business and technical needs, and determine ACS service requirements
Build and lead virtual teams linked to these wide-ranging opportunities
Effective communication with clients at CxO level
Building clients’ trust and commitment by achieving a trusted advisor relationship
Work proactively to build relationships with other Oracle business lines and collaborate (internally and externally) to ensure the development and design of effective service solutions
Lead proposals, persuasive presentations, and other communications and discussions with clients and internals during opportunities
Effectively clarifying the details of the service components in the proposed customer solution
Coordinate and pay the cost and pricing of service solutions associated with specific opportunities and ensure that proposed service solutions are appropriately tailored to meet the business and contractual requirements of Oracle and the customer
Applying consulting sales techniques
Use a solid understanding of the competitive market for services to anticipate and plan for competitive threats
– Transfer of knowledge to other groups such as; Account, Delivery and Cross Presales teams for ACS
Produce appropriate and timely information to report on the status of opportunities

Skills and Experience Required:

This is a big role. ACS Service Solutions engineers typically have over 15 years of experience in related IT services, across a wide range of technologies and client sectors.

A typical experience profile for this role may include most of the following:

Proven track record in developing successful proposals to provide transformational and operational services to mission critical environments in major organizations.
Extensive and extensive experience across the design/deployment/migration of large scale project based services type services and also in the field of mission critical productions and support.
Have proven experience delivering industry standard projects and service management best practices.
Substantial direct experience in service roles with external IT service providers
Extensive understanding of typical enterprise applications, IT infrastructures, and public and on-premises clouds, including but not limited to Oracle technologies
Substantial experience in presentation and interaction with clients in consulting and trusted advisor roles with C-level executives in relation to IT services illustrating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk.
Extensive industry knowledge and experience in cloud adoption and cloud services
Experience managing IT and software projects, including major IT transformation, migration, and solution deployment projects
Managing IT services, including managed/outsourcing services
Build total cost of ownership (TCO) analytics and pricing complex service offerings
Complex sales negotiations and deals
Design, implement and deliver complex service solutions for large scale critical IT environments
Advisory roles and trusted C-level advisor within key client organizations in relation to IT services
Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to C-level and large audiences
Full ability to engage effectively in both English and Arabic.
