Operating unit overview
Our Accounting Consulting team is currently enjoying exciting opportunities within its team in Saudi Arabia. Our team provides accounting consultancy and complex reports on a variety of projects and transactions to a variety of clients across government entities, businesses and family businesses.
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Accountant with a proven track record of delivering high quality client projects, strong technical knowledge and a commercially well-rounded mindset, ability to work in a demanding project and transactional environment.
Responsibilities:
Good task management skills to work on multiple potential projects at the same time;
Strong technical accounting skills but also applied in a commercial context and able to provide practical and business accounting advice to clients who address their objectives;
Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to conduct in-depth research on complex issues, prepare technical papers for discussion with senior team members and apply critical thinking;
– Document maintenance (Save it! workspace) for filing and ECR preparation;
– Review the look, design and overall quality of the outputs.
– Data analytics and review, purification, coordination and examination of opening balance sheet statements.
requirements:
You will be residing in Jordan, and will support projects in the GCC region remotely.
3-5 years of auditing or any other relevant experience in a top 4 firm. Any accounting consulting experience is helpful. Likewise, any experience in the GCC countries would be beneficial;
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload with flexibility and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
– Fluent in both English and Arabic. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and General Accounting Principles.
Strong interest and passion in enhancing technical accounting skills.
