Abu Dhabi Avenue is 28th site in Forever Green afforestation campaign

Manama, March 31 (BNA): The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), in cooperation with the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and the Supreme Council for the Environment, has planted 100 streets in Abu Dhabi Street in the Southern Governorate. The event was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Director of Communications and Investor Relations at Zain Bahrain, officials from the Southern Governorate, and 15 employees from Zain Bahrain who volunteered to contribute to the Forever Green initiative to enhance the partnership between the public and private sectors.

Zain Bahrain was among the first national companies to support the Forever Green campaign by supporting the afforestation of the Independence Corridor in the Southern Governorate.
