Abraham Accords achievements highlighted on first anniversary

Washington, September 16 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, participated in a meeting organized by the Abraham Institute for Peace Agreements in Washington, DC.

The meeting was also attended by UAE Ambassador Yousef Al-Otaiba and Israeli Ambassador Gilad Erdan, which was hosted by the President of the Institute for Abrahamic Peace Agreements Jared Kushner, and focused on the first anniversary of the signing of the Abraham Agreement and the most important achievements. and progress made over the past year.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his pride in the courageous step taken by Bahrain by signing a declaration of support for peace with Israel within the framework of the Ibrahim Agreement.

This initiative reflects the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which is based on the values ​​of tolerance and coexistence.

The diplomat recalled his recent visit to the synagogue in the Bahraini capital, Manama, where he sensed the culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all segments of society in the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the most prominent achievements during the first year of the declaration included the signing of 15 memoranda of understanding and four agreements in the political, economic, commercial, cultural and tourism fields.

Sheikh Abdullah said during the meeting that he looks forward to continuing to support efforts to bring peace to the region and to contribute to realizing the aspirations of its peoples for security, stability and prosperity.
