4 missing in Philippine yacht sinking

Manila, Apr. 30 (BNA): The Philippine Coast Guard said that 4 people are missing after a yacht with 32 people on board sank in the waters off Tubbataha in Palawan province.

Commodore Armando Palillo said the M/Y Dream Keeper yacht sank just before 7 a.m. Sunday local time (2300 GMT Saturday).

He said the boat left Cebu on Thursday afternoon and arrived at Tubbataha Reefs Nature Reserve on Saturday evening, according to Xinhua News Agency.

The yacht had 32 people on board, including 15 crew members, 12 passengers and five boatswain operators, Balilo said, adding that 28 people have been rescued and four are missing.
